Physiotherapy assesses the body across multiple subjective and objective measures and provides appropriate treatment modalities to suit individual needs. Our Physio treatments include monitored exercise and rehabilitation plans, acupuncture, sports massage techniques and electro therapy modalities such as ultrasound or referral to other medical services, as appropriate.
Physio is appropriate for individuals with musculoskeletal injuries, pain, niggles or those wishing to reduce risk of injury. For example, back, knee, shoulder, wrist, foot or shin pain.
Our Physiotherapy services may be accessed in our business locations of Perranporth, Redruth or Newquay, but are also available across Cornwall, as a mobile service at locations of your choice, such as Newquay, Bodmin, St Agnes, Goonhavern, Redruth, Truro and Falmouth (please see our booking policy for mobile location physio bookings).
Sports Massage combines deep and light massage therapy techniques with advanced pressure and stretching methods such as Muscle Energy Techniques (MET) or Proprioceptive Neuro-Muscular Facilitation (PNF) to relieve tension from tired muscles, but also to aid physio injury prevention, rehabilitation or maintenance programs for their body or activities.
Our Sports Massage services may be accessed in our business locations of Perranporth, Redruth or Newquay, but are also available across Conrwall, as a mobile service at locations of your choice, such as Newquay, Bodmin, St Agnes, Goonhavern, Redruth, Truro and Falmouth (please see our booking policy for mobile location physio bookings).
Medcial Acupuncture is used to assist with physiotherapy, sports massage therapy and injury management programs, as well as being useful for individuals wishing to reduce pain or nausea symptoms. Due to regulation requirements, our acupuncture is only available on our Clinic premises.
Ultrasound therapy is used to assist with physiotherapy and injury management programs, in particular those wishing to promote bone healing for fractures or bone stress associated with conditions such as 'shin splints'. It is most useful, when used as a treatment, daily for approximately 4 weeks.
Our Ultrasound therapy services may be accessed in our business locations of Perranporth, Redruth or Newquay, but are also available across Conrwall, as a mobile service at locations of your choice, such as Newquay, Bodmin, St Agnes, Goonhavern, Redruth, Truro and Falmouth (please see our booking policy for mobile location physio bookings).
Recieve assessment from professionals. Physiotherapists and sports medicine professionals will perform movement analysis, strength and range of movement assessments in sports specific screening. The assessments allow provision of technique pre/rehabilitation plans for triathlon, swimming, kayaking, running, team and surf sports.
The assessments allow technique and training programme development aimed at reducing risk of injury, as well as optimising performance through gains in efficiency.
Sports Screening Assessments require analysis of performance, so please contact us for a specific assessment date and locations to suit your needs.
